New developments in Madagascar's audiovisual landscape. Startimes Madagascar is launching its first locally produced series and reaffirming its commitment to offering programs tailored to Malagasy households. "Famato", the name of the new series, joins Startimes Madagascar's already robust lineup and will surely delight viewers.

40 Episodes
Produced by Outline Movies, "Famato" is an ambitious production of 40 episodes that breaks the mold of ordinary content. The production will immerse audiences in Madagascar's cultural richness by highlighting "Famato", a term designating spiritual protection in various forms, whether for a couple, a tomb, or a village. The series focuses its compelling narrative on the "Famato" of a village. More than mere entertainment, this exclusive production showcases Madagascar's cultural diversity, ancestral traditions, and customs. "With this new production, we are reaching a historic milestone in our commitment to the Malagasy public," explains Florence Zhu, marketing director of Startimes Madagascar.

Marathon
"The Malagasy series will be broadcast exclusively on GASYSTAR channel daily, Monday to Friday at 6 p.m.," Startimes Madagascar states. A rebroadcast is scheduled the next day at 7:15 a.m. and noon. On weekends, Startimes Madagascar customers will enjoy a true marathon with reruns of the week's five episodes at 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. This local addition enriches Startimes' already popular entertainment offering, which already features renowned international series dubbed in Malagasy, as well as broadcasts of major European football championships, such as LaLiga and Bundesliga, fully commented in Malagasy.
