The Ministry of Digital Development, Posts and Telecommunications (MNDPT) is calling on young people to build Madagascar's digital future. Out of ten budgeted positions open for recruitment, the ministry has already received 259 applications. Distributed between the capital and regional offices, these new state agents will operate in strategic sectors, including artificial intelligence, data management, digital innovation, cybersecurity, telecommunications and digital law (covering personal data protection and e-commerce). Additional Advantage Candidates holding a master's degree or equivalent must highlight their skills, academic achievements, research work or professional experience in these fields. Those holding internationally recognized professional certifications will have an additional advantage. Meanwhile, young candidates are demanding guarantees of integrity regarding the selection procedures for these positions. Partnership Agreement The digital sector is undoubtedly becoming a genuine pool of future employment opportunities for young people. Recently, a partnership agreement on the use of artificial intelligence in public affairs management was signed between the Malagasy and Egyptian governments. It focuses on optimizing AI use within public administration and the digital transition of the sector, to simplify and improve the quality of services offered to citizens.
