For now, the Financial Crimes Commission (FCC) maintains its position and firmly opposes any conditional release of the President-Director General of the SODIAT group. Recall that yesterday's hearing was initially supposed to address the preliminary objection raised by the FCC, which had contested the admissibility of the new bail motion filed by the defense. According to Top FM Mauritius, the FCC ultimately withdrew this objection, which allowed the Court to set a date to hear the bail application on its merits. Pending his fate on August 17-18, Mamy Ravatomanga remains in detention at Mellrose prison in Mauritius.
