A partnership agreement was signed last Wednesday at the Iavoloha State Palace between the national water and electricity company, the Independent Anti-Corruption Bureau (Bianco) and the National Anti-Fraud Agency (ANAF). The agreement was initialed by Jirama's Director General, General Hajatiana Rasolomanana, Bianco's Director General, Gaby Nestor Razakamamantsoa, and ANAF's Director General, General Charles Andrianasoavina. Jirama's Board Chairman, General Itibar Ottman, attended the ceremony. According to the signatories, this cooperation aims to better identify, prevent and reduce fraudulent practices or acts assimilated to corruption within the company. It includes awareness-raising activities, training, capacity building and controls designed to detect potential violations. The initiative concerns not only Jirama employees. Users are also called upon to contribute. The focus will be on education, prevention and effective law enforcement. Antsa R.
