Bringing an album to life on stage and sharing its universe with the audience is the goal of rock band Valahara, which will perform this Saturday, starting at 3 p.m., at Ivokolo Analakely, to promote its debut album Haizina sy Hazavana. For at least three hours, the five musicians will perform the eleven tracks from this opus, released in January, including several songs that will be played live for the first time. The show will feature several guest appearances. Singer Jimmy Harison will perform a duet with the band. Several surprise guests, already well-known to the public, will complete the lineup.
Comprising eleven tracks, four of which have already been adapted into music videos, Haizina sy Hazavana reflects life's contrasts. The album addresses both joys and hardships through love songs, breakup tracks, and pieces with darker atmospheres. It also tackles social issues, particularly corruption, abuse of power, and inequality before the law, while offering titles filled with hope and courage for rock enthusiasts. One song can even accompany a wedding opening, illustrating the diversity of themes covered.
This concert will be the first major live presentation of this carefully prepared album. The promotion of Haizina sy Hazavana will continue until year's end, with the upcoming release of a new track. This debut album is already available on the Moozik platform. Founded at the end of 2022, Valahara comprises Ranja on keyboards, Garry on drums, Sitraka on vocals, Jaykee on guitar, and Yrah. Last March, the band participated as a guest at a Green concert. With this event at Ivokolo Analakely, Valahara continues its ambition to showcase its musical identity to the public.
