From July 31 to August 21, 2026, the ADMC-CRAAM of the University of Antananarivo will host paintings focused on hira gasy and traditional antandroy dance. The opening reception will take place next Friday at 4 p.m. These paintings invite viewers to listen and immerse themselves in the circles and vibrations of local cultures. More than 19 works will transport visitors and enthusiasts of Malagasy intangible heritage. A quality painter, Nonoh Ramaro makes his return after a decade away from the Tananarive artistic scene, both nationally and internationally. It is through his pictorial universe that this painter preserves Malagasy tradition. A picture is worth a thousand words. And these words express themselves in both concrete and abstract ways. For 20 days, the public will be able to travel to another dimension where tradition and customs stimulate the spirit.
