Tselatra in full force to celebrate 45 years on stage. A historic voice was missing from Tselatra during the highly anticipated "Revy sy Rock Mandrakizay" organized last March at Barea stadium's annex parking lot. While the band did participate in the event to perform their cult classics, Eric was unable to take the stage due to eye problems. For Tselatra's major 45-year career milestone, the historic singer has now returned to Madagascar. The band will be complete for this anniversary concert, which aims to be much more than a simple celebration. "I had a small eye problem, but I thank God who allowed my eye to be treated. I could barely see. I also thank the doctors. Today, I see well, even though there's still some conflict between my two eyes," Eric explains. His wish remains to achieve complete healing and continue sharing his passion with the public. Rehearsals, which began in Isoraka, allow the band to perfect the final details of the concert. "It's like studying: without revision, there's no memory," Eric emphasizes. For approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, the audience will discover a show blending the songs that marked the band's history with more recent pieces, some recorded with Dama. Tselatra also wants to showcase its new compositions, while the public still frequently requests the old hits. "We always preserve what makes Tselatra's identity," Eric reminds us. Despite new arrangements, rock remains at the heart of their repertoire. The band also intends to preserve its Malagasy identity: "Our songs are deeply Malagasy. Even in our way of singing, we ensure there is no foreign influence." The show promises a grand entrance, carefully crafted stage scenography as true stage decoration, as well as lighting effects, enhanced sound and visual effects. The band also plans significant styling work, with clothing creations capable of rivaling major international brands when technical means allow. The instruments and equipment used, some of which were purchased from the United States, France and Italy, will also contribute to the show's aesthetics.
