Protecting the exceptional biodiversity of the Great Island is essential. The Madagascar Tourism Confederation (CTM) is calling on its member operators to comply with a charter dedicated to sustainable development in response to the social and environmental impacts of the sector. To achieve this, tourism stakeholders are encouraged to integrate CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) practices within their establishments, based on three key pillars: biodiversity preservation, valorization of local communities, and promotion of responsible tourism. This commitment not only helps preserve resources for future generations but also enhances Madagascar's image as a destination on the international stage. Furthermore, all sector players are called upon to protect the exceptional biodiversity of the Great Island, described as "five-star nature," in order to attract an increasing number of visitors.
