Regional cooperation is a reality in the airport sector. Antananarivo International Airport and Seychelles International Airport are strengthening their technical cooperation on connectivity through exchanges of airport best practices held from July 20-22 at Ivato. This was an opportunity for representatives of both airports to address operational, technical and strategic challenges shaping the airport sector in the Indian Ocean today.

Madagascar and Seychelles teams discussed several key topics over the three days, including infrastructure management, passenger experience improvement, and prospects for developing regional air connectivity. These exchanges are part of a broader cooperation dynamic between airports in the region, all facing common challenges related to traffic growth, facility modernization and technological innovation.

For Ravinala Airports, this visit concretely illustrates the importance of dialogue between Indian Ocean airport managers facing shared challenges: connectivity, innovation, sustainable development. Sharing experiences is an essential lever for building a stronger and more resilient regional aviation sector.
