Aviation professionals and industry partners will gather next December. Madagascar's Civil Aviation Authority (ACM) announces the second edition of the aviation salon, scheduled for December 5-6. The event will take place at Antananarivo International Airport as part of the 2026 International Civil Aviation Day (ICAD) celebrations, serving as a showcase for Madagascar's civil aviation sector and a meeting space for industry professionals, institutional partners, training establishments, businesses, and the general public.
"We expect broad mobilization from the aviation sector," explained Alban Rakotoarisoa, ACM Director General, at a press conference held at the Ibis hotel last Friday. For the ACM, this edition represents an opportunity to reaffirm its commitment to promoting civil aviation development in Madagascar, strengthening synergies between sector actors, and bringing the aeronautical world closer to the public.
Beyond airlines, the salon will feature airport operators, training centers, government services, technical and financial partners, and private companies.
With organization beginning more than five months before the event, the ACM aims to attract maximum attendance, projecting 4,000 visitors. They won't be disappointed, as the salon expects record participation. Over 50 exhibitors and more than 50 public and private institutional partners are anticipated. Young job and internship seekers will benefit from dedicated exchange and recruitment spaces, fostering connections between employers, training institutions, students, and job applicants—an opportunity for the public, especially youth, to discover career opportunities in the aviation sector.
The second edition's program includes exhibitions, demonstrations, and activities highlighting innovations, expertise, and activities of various civil aviation actors.
