Public Service: Towards Modern and Efficient Administration
Madagascar reaffirms its commitment to building a modern administration. On the occasion of African Public Service Day, celebrated on July 23, Madagascar strongly reaffirmed its determination to build a resolutely modern, transparent and efficient administrative apparatus. Held under the theme "a committed and innovative public service in the service of the Republic's Refoundation," this major event took place in the presence of the Minister of Labor, Employment and Public Service, Denis Franconio Mac, with the support of the African Union, the European Union and technical and financial partners. This celebration represents a major strategic opportunity for the Great Island. The Malagasy State is fully committed to the digital transformation of public services, the widespread deployment of the AUGURE platform for integrated management of civil servants, as well as the modernization of IT equipment in regional directorates. Meritocracy, ethics and good governance are now at the heart of national priorities. Concrete For Malagasy citizens, the benefits of these reforms are concrete and promising. A modernized administration guarantees the reduction of bureaucratic burdens, greater proximity in the regions and fair treatment of users. Through the participatory approach "dinika takalo," each stakeholder is invited to contribute to improving public service. By shaping a high-performing and upright public service, from birth to retirement, Madagascar is laying an essential foundation to effectively support the country's socio-economic development and meet the legitimate expectations of the population.
