IFM Media Library: Creative Workshops to Make July Vacation Engaging
July vacation takes on a creative and friendly atmosphere at the Institut français de Madagascar Media Library. The space becomes a true laboratory of experiences where art, digital media, and personal expression intersect to offer participants a week full of discoveries. Last Tuesday, the Mandala Workshop opened the program by inviting children to explore the universe of shapes and colors. An immersion that stimulates imagination while promoting concentration, ideal for vacation time when the mind breaks free. The following day, the My Online Libraries workshop introduced the public to the media library's digital resources. Bibliovox, Culturethèque, and Cairn.info become gateways to accessible knowledge, accompanied by artistic guidance that values curiosity and cultural openness. Yesterday, a paper floral art workshop, under the artistic direction of Antsanala Mirasoa, was scheduled to reveal to children aged 10 and over the beauty of gesture and creative patience, but it will be postponed due to national mourning. Finally, today, young people will learn to assert themselves during the Public Speaking workshop, led by Gaël Rafidison. In two hours, participants will discover how to structure their ideas and express themselves with confidence, an experience that strengthens confidence and impact in the art of oratory. This week at the IFM Media Library truly illustrates the spirit of vacation: learning differently, creating together, and opening up to new experiences in an inspiring and warm atmosphere.
