Maintenance work at the water treatment station in Mandroseza I. Water supply disruptions in the capital were observed again yesterday. According to Jirama, maintenance work on the Accelerator at the Mandroseza I water treatment station continues, in line with interventions announced since July 23. Technicians remain on site to progressively restore facilities to optimal operating conditions. This operation aims to preserve the longevity of infrastructure, guarantee water treatment quality, and especially reduce the frequency of filter cleaning. Ultimately, it should improve station efficiency and increase treated water volume. During interventions, part of the station remains temporarily out of service. Water supply disruptions are thus recorded in several districts of Antananarivo and its surroundings. For yesterday, affected districts include Ambohijatovo, Faravohitra, Antaninarenina, Behoririka, Andravoahangy, Manjakaray, Anjanahary, Mahamasina, Ankatso, Ambohipo, Ambanidia, Haute-Ville, Mahazoarivo, Alasora, Tanjombato, Andoharanofotsy, Ampandrianomby, Andraisoro and Antsahameva, among others. According to explanations, the situation should gradually return to normal after work completion and full restoration of facilities. For technicians, these maintenance operations remain essential to reliably secure water production and distribution in the capital.
