Jirama is carrying out maintenance work on the accelerator at the Mandroseza I water treatment station on Thursday, July 23. The intervention will begin at 7 a.m. and is expected to last approximately eight hours. These works aim to preserve the durability of infrastructure, maintain water treatment quality, and reduce the frequency of filter washing. This operation should progressively increase the volume of water treated by the station. During the intervention, part of the facilities will be temporarily taken out of service. According to Jirama, water supply disruptions are expected in several districts of Antananarivo and its surroundings, notably Antaninarenina, Faravohitra, Behoririka, Andravoahangy, Manjakaray, Mahamasina, Ankatso, Ambohipo, Ambanidia, the Upper Town, Alasora, Tanjombato, and Andoharanofotsy. Distribution should gradually return to normal after work completion. Users in affected areas are advised to make necessary arrangements.
