Results for the second official examination of the 2025-2026 school year are now complete. All results from the Brevet d'Etudes du Premier Cycle (BEPC) exam have been published across the entire national territory. Official statistics from the Ministry of National Education report a national pass rate of 61.85%. This figure marks a slight increase compared to the 2025 BEPC session, which had a national pass rate of 58.95%, itself lower than results from previous years. For reference, national pass rates for previous years were 67.97% for the 2024 session and 62.42% for 2023. In 2026, the best performance was recorded at the Ampanihy school district (CISCO), with a pass rate of 95.27%, while the lowest pass rate was observed at the Miandrivazo CISCO with 22.30% of students admitted to the BEPC.
