Franco-Malagasy singer Tsew the Kid (Tsiry Ralaiarisedy) has been charged in Paris with alleged marital rape of three women and violence against a fourth. An investigating judge determined that sufficient evidence had been gathered to continue the investigation. A fifth complainant has come forward since, though the suspect has not yet been questioned about this matter.
The alleged incidents, occurring between 2020 and 2024, involve non-consensual sexual relations and physical violence. The artist denies these accusations and maintains that all relationships were consensual.
The complainants' lawyers, meanwhile, suggest a possible pattern of coercion targeting vulnerable women.
Placed under judicial supervision, Tsew the Kid may continue his career during the proceedings. Being charged does not constitute a conviction: he remains presumed innocent until a final court decision.
