CureSureMedico inaugurated its new headquarters in Ivandry on Saturday in the presence of health sector representatives, institutional partners, and Mohit Kumar, interim chargé d'affaires at the Indian Embassy in Madagascar.
Active since 2023 in supporting Malagasy patients seeking specialized care abroad, CureSureMedico has already assisted over 100 patients and presented a medical triage system designed to evaluate the relevance of international medical evacuations.
The company used the ceremony to present a digital management system for international medical evacuations and a clinical triage device called CAT (Case Triage). According to its management, this mechanism allows analysis of a patient's medical file before any decision to transfer abroad.
According to data provided by the company, over 100 patients have been supported since operations launched in 2023, with marked increased demand over the past eighteen months. Oncology represents over 60% of cases treated, followed by interventional cardiology, neurology, and complex orthopedics.
CureSureMedico Operations Director Fanantenana Joseph Jérôme indicated that the CAT device also helps avoid certain unnecessary transfers. The company estimates that approximately 15% of analyzed cases do not ultimately require care abroad, either because prior stabilization is required or because an appropriate therapeutic solution exists in Madagascar.
The new digital system must also centralize medical reports and therapeutic recommendations to facilitate patient follow-up upon their return to the country. This is why CureSureMedico collaborates with referring physicians from university hospitals and the private sector to ensure continuity of care.
During his remarks, Mohit Kumar, representing the Indian Embassy, emphasized strengthened health cooperation between Madagascar and India. He also announced Sanjeevani 2026, a meeting dedicated to partnerships in health services, scheduled for September next in India.
